| August 18, 2007 Kim attended the DCRally2007 "Family Preservation Day". The DCRally2007 took place at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. It was informative, stimulating and moving. Her kids enjoyed it also. |
| August 30, 2007 I did a book signing with DC Bookman at the Foggy Bottom Metro location (23 & I) in DC. They have a great location & a good selection of books. If you need a book make sure you stop by. They are there often. |
| September 29, 2007 Kim did a book signing at the Nyack Library African-American Author Conference & Book Fair. The Nyack Library is a beautiful library with a good array of books. |

| June 27th, Kim was a Presentation Exhibitor at the Answers4Women Conference. The conference was insightful and inspiring. |
| July 30th, Kim read one of my poems at the Hue-man Bookstore & Café in Harlem, NY during the open mic session. If you are a poet I highly recommend this great platform. |
